My little man is teething (he has one tooth popping out and another on the way, looks so cute!), so he’s often irritable and fussy. On top of this, with some renovations being done on the house before Christmas (and more to come after *makes crying face*), everything is a bit all over the place … including my wits. Little J already isn’t keen on napping, but the teething phenomenon has made it much more difficult to get him to sleep. So, what do I do when he needs his baby-beauty-rest? Here are six methods I use to get him to sleep!
For the third night in a row, little J is having trouble getting to sleep. I’m not really sure why, he’s usually out like a light by 9:30PM, and sleeps right through till about 6 in the morning. We haven’t done anything particularly different these past few days … perhaps he’s having a growth spurt.
Last night, I couldn’t sleep. There was no particular reason – I was plenty tired. I tried reading myself to sleep, listening to meditation tracks – it just wasn’t happening. I didn’t fall asleep until around 1am, and only got about three hours sleep. But I’m actually happy that I was awake so late …
