Welcome to the Mini Mummi blog! My name is Romina, and I am a first time mummy to a beautiful little boy.
As a new mum, I was finding it difficult to apply conflicting advice … Between reading parenting books, listening to other mums’ (recent and otherwise) experiences, and hearing from midwives and other baby experts, I soon realised I had to decide what was best for me and my baby.
Currently on maternity leave, I am looking to put my writing/publishing experience to good use, helping other mummies navigate through the wealth of often conflicting (and, sometimes, even discouraging) information out there about pregnancy and motherhood. I believe that every mummy knows what’s best for her own baby – even first time mums! And so, Mini Mummi Blogger was born!
There’s a lot of information out there for new mothers – some encouraging and some kind of panic-inducing – and it’s often difficult to wade through it all to figure out what’s useful and what’s not.
I hope the tips and articles shared on this blog help new mummies realise that they are the ones that know what is best for their own babies, and that it’s okay to ask for help then decide which advice* is suitable for them.
